Pete Seeger

Musician, singer, songwriter, activist, writer, ambassador of goodness -- via the New York Times. I will have to write more extensively about him later -- suffice it to say that he was the number-one influence on me as a creative person. I learned to sing by singing along with him. I learned to question authority thanks to his example. I learned to keep going. I saw him at Carnegie Hall in New York on Thanksgiving, 1978. Thanks, Pete, for everything.
