Dickie Moore
Child actor; writer, public relations exec, and editor -- via the New York Times. AKA John Richard Moore, Jr. He first appeared in film in 1927. He was a member of Our Gang, and racked up over 100 credits before he left the profession in 1957. He wrote a wonderful study of the lives of child actors, titled "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star (But Don't Have Sex or Take the Car)." He was quite a good actor, not just a cute little face; for instance, his brief role as a deaf-mute in "Out of the Past" sticks in the mind.
