John Berg
Grammy-winning art director -- via the New York Times. His more than 5,000 album covers for Columbia were as big a part of the experience as the music! In fact, I have his posthumous re-release of Szell's recording of Beethoven's Fourth and Fifth Symphonies. It was meant to be a slam, evidently, but I love it.
Claudia Barroso
Singer -- via UOL. AKA Amelia Rocha Barroso. A master of musica brega -- a kind of corny but beloved ensemble music.
