Stan Francis

Design engineer, musician, and amateur/master luthier; created Pete Seeger's iconic 12-string guitar in 1960 -- via the Guardian. His father taught how to work with wood. He loved to play banjo and guitar, and was part of the Liverpudlian skiffle/folk music scene, directly before the Britpop revolution. Crafting instruments was  passion for him. He did it in his shed, and never made a going concern of it. No two pieces are alike.
