Wayne Ruppert Sr.

A police officer and, eventually, Police Chief of York City, PA -- via the York Dispatch. He mentored kids in trouble, he helped the community, he saved lives -- he cared and went that extra mile!

  1. Brad: Thank you for posting this obit. Wayne W. Ruppert, Sr, is my father. He went the extra mile in everything he did, and was an excellent role model and mentor for hundreds of juveniles he worked with -- and for my sisters and I as we grew up. Unlike many "motivated" professionals, he was as equally dedicated to his family as he was his job. For the past decade, I have been working on writing his biography; it's an incredibly entertaining, poignant and uplifting story, one that will allow him to continue helping others, even though he's no longer on earth with us. I'm asking anyone who knew him and/or was helped by him, to contact me at wwruppert@aol.com To see a description of his biography, visit: http://trigenpress.com/id7.html
