Richard Briers

Actor -- via the BBC. Absolutely one of the most talented comic actors I've ever watched, Briers shot to fame with his work on the English TV sitcom "The Good Life." He also excelled in classical work, stage performances, and occasional turns as villains -- all done with consummate skill.

Loved him particularly as Reg in Ayckbourn's "Norman Conquests," Malvolio, Polonius, Lear, Vanya, and Smee in a recent "Peter Pan" adaptation.
