The son of Oscar-winning actor Victor McLaglen, Andrew specialized in Westerns, and was a key contributor to the genre during one of its lean periods. He shot 96 episodes of "Gunsmoke" and 116 of "Have Gun-Will Travel." Among his films are "Shenandoah," "Chisum," "Hellfighters," "The Devil's Brigade," and "The Rare Breed."
