Lincoln "Chips" Moman

Songwriter, guitarist, and record producer -- via WMC Action News. He did it all. A master of black and white soul music. He toured with Johnny Burnett and Gene Vincent. He co-wrote "Do Right Woman, Do Right Man," "The Dark End of the Street," "Luckenbach, Texas," and "Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song,." He guided the Box Tops, recorded Elvis and Aretha and Willie. His American Sound Studios produced an insane amount of hits in the 1960s and 1970s.  He produced Back in Memphis, reviving Elvis's career, and The Highwaymen. He recorded songs such as "You Were Always on My Mind," "Kentucky Rain," and many more.
