Powers Boothe

Actor -- via the Hollywood Reporter. An excellent performer with lots of great roles under his belt during a 50-year-plus career. Stage-trained, he wound up playing villains most of the time, but he was far more talented than just your standard heavy. Among his best performances on film and television -- the lead role in "Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones," which made his reputation and won him an Emmy; "The Emerald Forest," "Southern Comfort," "Tombstone," Frailty," "Deadwood," and "Philip Marlowe, Private Eye."
