John Vaccaro
Director; originator of the Ridiculous Theater movement -- via the New York Times. His protege Charles Ludlam would break away and make much stronger contributions theatrically, Vaccaro freed up and championed the idea of glam/gay/trangressive art, and pushed theater forward imaginatively a few decades in the process.
