Kenny Baker
Actor; best known as the man inside R2D2 of the "Star Wars" movie series -- via the Guardian. Also played the whimsical, mute Fidgit in "Time Bandits," with roles in many other films. It seems counterintuitive to say someone in a robot suit is acting, but Baker pulled off the extremely difficult job of making a droid personable and individualized, without even the benefit of dialogue.
