Best known for his adenoidal, perfect Brooklyn accent, he is best known for his work on the TV sitcom "Alice," as the voice of Choo-Choo in "Top Cat," and as one of the two hapless gas-station attendants who are the victims of an enraged Jonathan Winters in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" -- one of the great slapstick sequences in film.
