Steve Arlin

Former MLB pitcher -- via the Columbus Dispatch. FUN FACTS: He came the closest a Monks hurler ever came to pitching a no-hitter -- two out in the ninth v. Phillies, July 18, 1972 . . . broken up by Denny Doyle. Also, Arlin's grandfather Harold was the first person to broadcast a baseball game, Pirates v. Phillies, August 5, 1921.
