George Grant
Singer with the Castelles -- via The Blog. Great historical data and interpretation from David Hinckley! Grant was the lead tenor, pioneering the high, aching style later perfected by Frankie Lymon. The Castelles have been referred to as the founders of the Philadelphia style of vocals.
