Antoine 'Fats' Domino Jr.

Pianist, songwriter, and performer; one of America's greatest and most transformative musicians -- via NPR. He fundamentally changed how we play and how we listen, influencing everyone. Ostensibly an R&B man, he was an architect of rock and roll. A beautiful, compelling artist whose music was so loved that it brought together black and white audiences, and actually contributed to the decline of race hatred. His music always picked up you up when you were down. Who else can say that?
