Frank Buxton

Actor, writer, director, and Peabody-winning producer; the voice of Batfink and the co-creator of TV's "Hot Dog" -- via News from ME. He did a little bit of everything -- standup, improv, TV hosting, writing, producing, and directing,. He's oneof the voices in Woody Allen's overdubbed comedy "What's Up, Tiger Lily?" He was a co-host of an early ABC show I had completely forgotten -- "Discovery," an amazing non-fiction maagazine-style program for kids that was great! Later, he co-developed an evolution of that, the equallt memorable "Hot Dog." He was an expert on and preserver of old-time radio (he co-wrote The Big Broadcast, one of the early books on the ubject). AND HE WAS BATFINK.
