Bonnie Guitar

Pioneering country singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer, and label owner. AKA Bonnie Buckingham. She started off as a valued session player, then got a hit with "Dark Moon" in 1956. As owner of Dolphin/Dolton Records in Seattle, she signed both the Fleetwoods ('Come Softy to Me') and the Ventures ('Walk, Don't Run'). Then, from 1965 to 1969, she racked up five Top 20 country hits herself. Via Saving Country Music.
