  1. He was a classmate and dear friend of mine while at Syracuse University graduate school. I directed a 90-minute tv show of him portraying Dylan Thomas in 1972. When I visited Europe, I stayed with him, his wife Iris, and their three children for a week in early 1973. He and I stayed in touch, and met again when I was living in Los Angeles in the late 70s, perhaps early 80s. I was heartbroken when I found about his daughter's murder and his subsequent living "underground" for a while. I searched for him in 2018, and just discovered his death. I am honored to have been his friend.
