Actress and acting teacher, director and producer; founder of New York's theater's Players Guide; my acing teacher. Our classes with Terry took place in the leaky old basement of a rundown hotel on Herald Square. We didn't care. She was imperious and feisty; very vital. I remember working on sense memory with her, a strong Method tenet (I was in the Circle in the Square program, which used a hybrid of training techniques; Stella Adler still reigned at another program, and somewhere Charles Ludlam was teaching too).
